“ Not just good food but a whole vibe! We went at 3pm on Saturday as that was the only time we could get a reservation. I had chicken and waffles with 2 wings and it was tasty. My only complaint is my food wasn't hot at all. My daughter's cinnamon bun pancakes were hot and she enjoyed them. My stepdaughter got the shrimp and grits which she also enjoyed. Definitely a spot to check out and I would try it again. ”

“ I had an average experience at Sweet Chick. The ambiance was fine, barn-like. The service was decent, it took several tries to get a hold of our waiter when needed. It seemed like more attention was given to the front part of the restaurant and we felt a bit forgotten in the back. The menu offers a good variety, so there's definitely something for everyone. We opted for the chicken sandwiches, and I have to say the sweet chili sauce was tasty. My boyfriend loved his lemon pepper sauce. Overall, the food was good and definitely satisfied our cravings, but it wasn't anything that would make me rush back. It was a solid meal, but I don't feel the need to revisit anytime soon. ”

“ Ate here on the night of the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson fight and it was a vibe (as always though). I've had sweet chick a few times and it never disappoints no matter what I try. On this occasion I tried the vanilla glaze chicken & waffles with plain chicken tenders. Absolutely tasty combo. I also have had the OG chicken sandwich & chicken & waffles with honey soy garlic tenders and that was also so tasty. I highly recommend trying ALL of those things on ALL the many times you (should) go to Sweet Chick. It's also a great vibe in there, just like a classic NY vibe with great service and kind workers all around. Definitely a must try if you're visiting NYC or even if you've lived there and never had it! ”

“ One of my favorites when I'm in New York. Good service, nice environment for brunch or lunch. The chicken and waffles is always solid. Chicken is seasoned well, the waffles are sweet and a good texture. My most recent trip, I switched it up a bit and had the carrot cake pancakes which were really good. I also had the soy honey garlic chicken which wasn't my favorite. It was a bit salty. But the OG fried chicken is money! Also wasn't a fan of the cocktail I had. Didn't have much flavor at all and tasted a bit watered down. Might've just been the one I chose. But definitely go here for the food! ”

“ My buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. As well as the power slaw and my girlfriend lemon pepper chicken sandwich I tasted. I look forward to eating more off the menu. They play hip, rap, pop music, rnb Lemon pepper sandwich at top was good but I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich because of the sharp blue cheese taste against the buffalo flavored chicken which was a good contrast in taste. Power slaw is the salad, mixed greens and don't have mayo or not a lot. I don't like cold slaw but this was alright for me. ”
